About Department 

Abhinav Bharat Shikshan Sanstha is a duly registered Education Society and a Public Trust under the provisions of the Societies Registration Act 1860 and also under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, established the N. S. B. College at Nanded on 02/06/1971 by the permission of the Government of Maharashtra and the then Marathwada University, Aurangabad which was having the territorial jurisdiction extending up to this area (i.e. Marathwada) at that time.

The college from the beginning decided to offer the universal knowledge and current research in every field along with the regular curricular activities. For that purpose, it was also decided that the various independent Departments be established under the academic guidance of the Heads of the Departments, who were chosen from the seniority cadre in a subject. The Department continued its work under the able guidance of Prof. Sudarshandev Jadhav and later on of Dr.Kushaldev Kapse, who retired from his service in June,2003.

The Department conducts usually Seminars and Symposia in which the academic luminaries are invited for guidance.

The Department of Hindi is associated with various three streams such as BA, B Com, and B Sc.  The Department has decisively committed to ensuring the transfer of knowledge.  The knowledge of higher order is being given to the students of humanities, social sciences and sciences.

Scope of Hindi

  •         In the present era, Hindi is not merely the language of production of creative literature. It has been used in different modern subjects and the various fields of knowledge. In fact, for the development and growth of nation both literacy and functional aspects are necessary. Any language that may be so powerful and comprehensive it can be evaluated on the basis of how it has the diversity in its literary production and its capacity to express all the issues and its utility in different areas. The language can fulfil the requirements of modern age very appropriately. So it measures the future development of human beings.Hindi is used in center or state’s communication, working of Parliament and Houses of India, Official Letters, and in the drafting of any committee. It has also become the necessity of media and press, advertising, business letters, post-offices, banking, government policies and notices.

    Nowadays with the spread of human life and its advancement the influence of Hindi has been tremendously increasing. Hindi is everywhere in the field of life even at the high level. It provides more opportunities of employment than the other languages.

    The learners of Hindi language and literature would have the various possibilities of jobs in public or private services.
